Citizen Service

The Citizen Service is part of the municipality's efforts to improve citizen-oriented services. The Citizen Service ensures that residents and visitors in Vágur now have a single place to go for all municipal matters.

The Citizen Service is located in Miðlatún Culture Center. This elegant building, situated in the heart of Vágur, currently houses the tourist information office and the city library. Miðlatún also functions as a cultural center, hosting various events and activities throughout the year. The building is open six days a week, located on the main road, Vágsvegur, and is accessible for people with mobility impairments.

The Citizen Service is primarily a consolidation of existing services into one location rather than a new service. A dedicated team will manage the Citizen Service, focusing on providing a close and high-quality service for everyone.
