Relocation

When moving to Vágur or to another residence within Vágur, it is required to notify the Vágur Municipality. The municipality manages the population registry for the Environmental Agency.

• If moving from abroad to Vágur, a relocation form must be completed at the citizen service center at Vágsvegur 57.
• If relocating from Vágur to the Nordic countries, this must be reported to the municipality of the new residence, which in turn will notify the Vágur Municipality.
• If moving to a country other than the Nordic countries, this must be reported to both the destination municipality and Vágur Municipality.
